One line
PhotoEscape for Mac fixes Google Takeout and Snapchat Memories exports: it puts the dates, places, captions and albums back, then adds everything to Apple Photos.
Description
Google Takeout and Snapchat both export your photos with the important details stripped out: dates and places sit in separate .json files, Snapchat captions and stickers are saved as separate overlay images, and albums are scattered across folders. Import that into Apple Photos and years of photos land on the day you downloaded them.
PhotoEscape for Mac reads the export as it comes (zip files included, no unzipping), writes each photo's date with the correct time zone, its location and caption back into the file, merges Snapchat caption and sticker overlays onto photos, and adds everything to Apple Photos in a folder of albums, with Live Photos paired again.
Your export is never changed: PhotoEscape works on copies, writes a change log for every file, and lists anything it couldn't fix. Photos never leave your Mac.
